What you need
- One printed logic grid puzzle per student or pair (a full set in the printable kit)
Setup
Print or display one logic puzzle (3–4 categories, 3–4 items each, 5–6 clues) per student or pair.
How to run it
- Explain the format: a grid with rows and columns representing categories (e.g. names, pets, colors), and a list of clues that each rule in or out a combination.
- Students mark an X or checkmark in each grid cell as they eliminate or confirm a pairing, working through the clues one at a time.
- Once every category is fully resolved, students write out the final solution as a sentence for each item.
- Go over the solution together, walking through which clue had to be used first and why.
Variations
- Run it as a competitive pairs race for the fastest correct solution.
- Have advanced students write their own 3-clue mini logic puzzle for a partner to solve.
