What you need

Setup

Model the format yourself first so kids see exactly what "a wish" sounds like versus "a truth."

How to run it

  1. Explain the format: everyone shares two true things about themselves and one thing they wish were true (not a lie — a wish, like "I wish I had a pet dragon").
  2. Go around the circle. Each student shares their two truths and one wish in any order.
  3. The rest of the class guesses which one is the wish by pointing or calling out.
  4. The student reveals the wish and, if they want, says why they picked it.
